Mrs. Margo M. Rounds

Margo M. Rounds, 70, of Plattsburgh, formerly of Lyon Mountain passed away Monday, June 16, 2025 at CVPH Medical Center Plattsburgh. Born on August 30, 1954 in Plattsburgh, she was the daughter of Carlton “Cobbie” and Shirley (Garrow) Pageau. She married Timothy L. Rounds on October 14, 1984 in Lyon Mountain. Margo graduated from Northern Adirondack Central Schools. She worked at the Chase Gas Station in Lyon Mountain as a clerk for many years before retiring. She enjoyed bird watching and was a squirrel chaser. Margo enjoyed working in her flower garden as well as decorating her home. She was an avid crotcheter of diamond art patterns, loved to go shopping and spend time with her family. She enjoyed watching Gun Smoke and old black and white movies. Margo was a communicant of St. Bernard’s Church, Lyon Mountain. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Timothy Rounds; a daughter and son-in-law, Monica and Rick Gero of Ellenburg Depot; two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Lindsey Harrigan of Chateaugay, TJ and Mary Rounds of Brainardsville; two step-daughters, Heidi Ouimet and her husband, Bobby of Florida and Laura Gokey of Plattsburgh; grandchildren, Rachael and Jake Juron, Adam Venne, partner Olivia. Dylan Harrigan, partner Megan, Nolan Harrigan, Cameron Gero, partner Serena, Samantha Senecal, Carter, Kelly, Ian Vanier, Katie and Scott St. Mary, Sara and Tori Preve, Emily and Henry Bernier, Rosie and Travis Secore, Samantha Rounds, partner Patrick, Brett and Kayla Ouimet, Chelsea Tran, partner Jay, Paige and Parker DeCosse; great grandchildren, Hadley Juron, Timothy and William St. Mary, Bradley and Brayden Preve, Henry Jr. and Elise Bernier, Rory and Logan Secore, Brock and Owen Ouimet, Isabella Tran, Gracelyn DeCosse; two brothers, Steve and Michael Pageau both of Plattsburgh; a sister, Cheryl Alexander of Plattsburgh; two sisters-in-law, Ann Rounds of Lyon Mountain, Robin Pageau of Plattsburgh; a brother-in-law, Albert Blaine of Lyon Mountain; as well as many nieces and nephews. Margo was predeceased by her parents; siblings, Gary Pageau, Valerie Frazier, Yvette Pageau and Carol Blaine; a brother-in-law, Carlton “Carly” Rounds. Calling hours will be held at St. Bernard’s Church, Lyon Mountain on Friday, June 20, 2025 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated immediately following at 4 p.m.
