Mrs. Denise A. Ashline

June 14, 1957 - May 30, 2016

Denise A. Ashline, 58, of State Route 374, Chazy Lake, NY died Monday, May 30, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family and aided by Hospice of the North Country. Born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on June 14, 1957, she was the daughter of Paul and Helen (Thibodeau) Boucher. They predeceased her. She was married to Edward Ashline on September 5, 1981 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Denise was employed at Clinton Correctional Facility for 10 years as a keyboard specialist until she was forced to retire due to ill health. She was an accomplished pianist. She enjoyed cooking and having people stop in for a visit at her home. Family was everything to her and everyone remarked on her infectious smile. Denise is survived by her husband of 34 years; a son, Peter Ashline and his wife, Desirae; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Viviane Boucher of Montreal, Quebec, Diane and Gerald Barber of Chazy Lake, Cynthia and Mark Dubrey of Plattsburgh, NY; a brother, Paul Boucher of Montreal, PQ; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held at St. Bernard's Church on Thursday, June 2 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 12 p.m. Burial will take place at St. Bernard's Cemetery, Lyon Mountain . In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her memory to Hospice of the North Country.
