Mrs. Jennifer Connors Malley Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jennifer Connors Malley, 46, of the Brown Benoit Rd, Owls Head died Monday, October 17, 2016 at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester. Born on November 2, 1969 in Malone, NY, she was the daughter of John B. and Beverly (Gilligan) Connors. She married Ricky Malley on September 17, 2016 in Owls Head, NY. Jennifer graduated from Franklin Academy. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from SUNY Potsdam where she was a member of Arethusa Sigma Gamma Phi. Jennifer spent much of her life living on Nantucket Island, MA, and worked in Florida and Vermont before returning to Malone. In Malone, she taught at Davis Elementary School was a substitute teacher at various local school districts including Malone Central School District and Salmon River Central School District. She most recently was employed by Woodman of the World Insurance, Malone. Jennifer was a communicant of St Joseph’s Church and a member of the Ladies of the Elks 1303. She loved her dog and two cats and spending time with her niece and nephews, who were very special to her. She enjoyed sailing and was on the Franklin Academy Swim Team and the SUNY Potsdam Swim Team. She is survived by: Her husband Ricky Malley; her mother and father of Malone, NY; her sisters, Elizabeth Connors and Meg McGovern; Her niece and nephews; Kaeley, Keagen, Ian and Tristan; and several Cousins. She is predeceased by her brother Michael, sister Anne, maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Gilligan and paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Bernie Connors. There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at10 a.m, Friday October 21, at St Joseph’s Church. Burial will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Lake Titus Rd. Jennifer’s family requests that friends consider signing organ donation cards so that those in need of transplant organs can be better served.
