John W. Wallace, 55, of Branch St., Malone died Jan. 13, 2014 at CVPH Medical Center, Plattsburgh, NY. Born in Malone, NY on July 14, 1958, he was the son of Charles Wallace and Marion Crippen Ouimet. His father predeceased him. John graduated from Franklin Academy, Malone. During his employment years, he was employed by several companies including Carter's Potato Farm, the Town of Burke, Govern Construction, D & K Construction, Biondo Construction and Jones Potato Farm. John is survived by his mother of Malone; a daughter, Kelsie Wallace of Chateaugay; two sisters, Mary Lou Spinner of Malone, Wendy Dibble of Chateaugay; four step-brothers, Greg, Ricky, Randy and Barry Ouimet; several cousins, nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours. The family will greet family and friends on Saturday, Jan. 18 at 1 p.m. in Burke Adult Center to celebrate John's life. Spring burial will take place at Ridgeway Cemetery, Burke.
