Myron J. Brady, 86, of Constable, died Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at the Alice Center, Malone. Born on September 16, 1934 in Malone, NY, he was the son of Chester and Marion (Robinson) Brady. Myron was married to Linda Avery on February 8, 1964 in St. Francis of Assisi Church with Rev. McNamara officiating. She predeceased him on February 26, 2008. He graduated from Franklin Academy and enlisted in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged. Myron worked as a rural mail carrier in Constable before retiring. He was a member of many clubs and organizations, Snowmobile Club, Town Council, Westville Fire Department, Knights of Columbus, American Legion, Association of Senior Citizens, Fort Covington Adult Center, the Westville Historical Organization, Franklin County RSVP as well as a coach for the Westville Youth. Myron was an avid bowler. Myron is survived by his four sons and two daughters-in-law, Scott and Charlene Brady and Shane and Ann Brady of Westville, Steven Brady of Plattsburgh, and Myron Brady II of Westville; six grandchildren, Tiffany O’Connor, Scott Brady II, Cody, Cory and Austin Brady, and Justin Corcoran; seven great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Besides his wife, he was predeceased by his parents and four siblings, Francis (Buick) Brady, Mary Lou Tuper, Beatrice Greene and James Brady. Calling hours will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Constable on Saturday, October 10 from 9 a.m. to noon. In accordance with current health restrictions, those in attendance are asked to observe the use of face coverings and social distancing. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated privately. Burial will take place at 1 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Constable following services. Donations in Myron’s memory may be made to the Westville Fire Department, Fort Covington Adult Center and the Westville Historical Organization.
