Mr. William Mackenzie Daoust

William Mackenzie Daoust, 20, of Brainardsville died unexpectedly on Sunday, April 10, 2022. Born on May 4, 2001 in Raleigh, NC, he was the son of Bernard and Marie Patricia (McLatchy) Daoust. Will graduated from Chateaugay Central School. He was employed at Pactiv in Plattsburgh. He was a hard worker who enjoyed playing video games in his down time. He is survived by his parents of Brainardsville; a sister and brother-in-law, Savannah and Chase Carter of Raleigh, NC; a brother and sister-in-law, Andrew and Angie Daoust of New Jersey; three nephews and a niece, Finn, Weston, Ian and Katie; his paternal grandmother, Adrienne Lavoie; several aunts, uncles and cousins; many friends including his best friend, Evan Carley; his canine companion, Kobe. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Hubert Daoust and maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Mary McLatchy. Calling hours will be held at the Chateaugay Funeral Home on Thursday, April 14 from 3 to 5 p.m. A prayer service will immediately follow at 5 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will take place the Brainardsville Cemetery.
